Is it like, uber passé to blog about people who have hurt you/pissed you off? Who am I, Taylor Swift? I mean, it's quite a cheap shot isn't it. It's just so easy. It is the ultimate victorious response to someone else's malevolence against you and for the most part, it feels fucking good. On the other hand, it accomplishes nothing except internal satisfaction for presumably coming up on top by talking shit in some witty or clever way, which is one of my few...."talents." Can I use that word here?

Knowing how difficult - if not impossible - it is to ever completely recover from certain below-the-belt comments made by those closest to you, I'd be best advised to "be the better person" by keeping my mouth shut. I just wish that doing that felt half as good as giving a certain someone my piece of mind.

There are those who profoundly believe that they have exclusive access to the truth. The more certain they are, the further from reality they really are. And I still can't stop being hung up on debating the pros and cons between keeping the higher ground versus submitting a crafty response. But I think I'd rather let others become the invisible ones.
